New Years Eve

Here are a few pictures to update you on the status of our new, 200+ year old house. Over the past two weeks, all of the ductwork has been installed and the plumbing and electric is well on its way. This is great, albeit not especially photogenic, progress:

It has been another very cold week, but with every day we are closer to closing the house completely and getting the heat running.

Also this week, we signed the cabinet order for our kitchen; I will hopefully post with renderings of that within the next week or so.

On the eve of 2010, there is so much to look forward too... we are fortunate and thankful to have this opportunity and the terrific family and friends who are following along with our renovation through this blog.
